As a Quality Engineer in the area of supplier quality, you will be responsible for the assembly and manufacturing quality of INNIO's containerized gas engine power plants. You will work closely with internal departments and our suppliers to ensure that the required quality standards, sustainability, and continuous improvements are maintained throughout the supply chain.

Your Responsibilities :
Support, qualify, and develop suppliers in all quality-related areas, including manufacturing, assembly, mechanics, and electrical systemsSupervise supplier processes on-site, identify non-conformances and risksDefine, introduce, and approve quality assurance test steps together with suppliers and specialist departmentsSupport suppliers in processing quality cases, including complaint management (8D reports, root cause analysis, tracking measures)Ensure the engineering change process at the supplier, including fleet programsSupport supplier audits and help improve their quality management systems, including subcontractors where necessaryInitiate and support corrective and preventive measures as well as continuous improvement projects (CIP)Provide support for new projects and series production launchesYour Profile :
Completed technical degree (e.g., mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering) or comparable educationTechnical experience with engine gensets and packaging of power generation equipment (mechanical and electrical)Professional experience in quality management or supplier qualityAnalytical thinking, assertiveness, and negotiation skillsVery good communication skills in German and EnglishWillingness to travel for supplier audits and on-site supportAt INNIO, we offer a competitive salary package which is far above the requirements of the metal collective agreement in Austria.
