Responsibilities
What does a great Controller / Financial Controller do?
As a Controller / Financial Controller, you will be heavily involved in budgeting, forecasting and various analytical processes across the company. You will work closely with the Director of Finance Austria to drive accountability and visibility in the organization. The Controller / Financial Controller is an important member of the financial team and will drive the synthesis of data and build the story that will support major planning decisions within the company.
- Leads timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial and metrics reporting.
- Creates and interprets financial information and reports, and provides insight to management, partner departments and other groups.
- Tracks and analyzes key business drivers, competitive environment, trends, and operating metrics.
- Regularly meets with department leadership to review, develop and update budgets.
- Partners with the Director of Finance Austria on the annual budget development and analysis.
- Proxy of the Director of Finance during his absence
- Collaboration with external collection agency and tax agency
Qualifications
Requirements for consideration
Graduation from a business school (HAK) or higher education3-5 years of experience preferably in corporate finance (SaaS Company) or an accounting firmAdvanced skills with Microsoft, especially Excel, with proven financial modeling skillsFunctional knowledge of financial reporting systems and methodologies such as SAP and / or SalesforceProven capabilities in analyzing financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flowsExperience with the preparation and creation of monthly / annual financial statementsKnowledge of austrian tax law desirableThorough knowledge of accounting principles and proceduresHigh degree of accuracy, sense of responsibility and initiativeIndependent, structured and results-oriented workLogical and analytical way of thinking with a strong understanding of numbersGood communication skills and team-orientationCollaboration with Customer Success (during the Renewal Process)Collaboration with Sales (especially with Salesforce)WHAT WE OFFER
