• Bring your contribution to the specification of safety requirements and the definition of safety concept / architecture
• Conduct the safety analysis (e.G. FTA, DFA, FMEDA) of the products under responsibility, with the support of the development team
• Provide the review of relevant ISO26262 work products
• Monitor the progress of safety-related activities and trigger updates based on changes during the product lifecycle
• Identify and drive continuous improvement activities in the development process
• Present your work and support the development team during the product life cycle and the functional safety audits and assessments
• Stay connected to the Functional Safety communities at Infineon to get insights into other projects and continuously maintain our local state-of-the-art You listen actively to the customers and consider their point of view, thoughts, and ideas in order to balance the customer requirements and the interests of Infineon. Moreover, you live up to high quality standards, have a good sense for costs and strive for continuous improvement. You are best equipped for this task if you have :
• A university degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics or comparable field of study
• At least 3-5 years of work experience in the field of functional safety in either OEM / Tier1 or Tier2 (e.G. ISO 26262, IEC 61508 and other relevant safety standards)
• Good understanding of hardware electronic modules and / or analog / digital blocks
• Tendency to face up to problems with a structured and methodical approach
• Good communication and moderation skills
