StellenbeschreibungYou're a Java developer with hands-on experience in development and architectural design. Experience with cloud-native, microservice-based architectures. Strong commitment to software craftsmanship, including design patterns, automated testing, and maintainable code. Knowledge of C++ is a plus. Excellent communication in English (spoken and written). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Positive, resilient attitude, especially under pressure.
Overview
Bitmovin wants to bring on board a Senior Software Engineer to join the Live Encoding team. We’re focused on providing a mind-blowing Live Encoder that sets our Bitmovin products apart. You’ll be part of our squad, working with a cloud-native setup that runs on AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, and you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of our products.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance, reliable code that our enterprise customers (e.g., Discovery+, DAZN, BBC) and millions of users rely on.
- Work with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus / Grafana, ELK Stack, SonarQube, and CircleCI.
- Be involved from product brainstorming to turning ideas into deliverables, owning features from concept to release.
- Build new features while refining existing ones and diagnose and resolve issues to keep systems running smoothly.
- Collaborate with teams and grow through ongoing learning and career development opportunities.
