Aufgaben

The impact you'll make

As a Process Engineer at Lam, you will operate on cutting-edge technology, harnessing atomic precision, material science, and surface engineering to push technical boundaries. Your role involves developing new and advanced process formulations, defining equipment hardware to meet processing requirements, evaluating test data, and coordinating design requirements to ensure compatibility of processing methods. Your expertise and knowledge play a crucial role our customers success, making an impact on the next generation of semiconductor breakthroughs.

What you'll do

• Responsible for performing professional process engineering research, development and evaluation in semiconductor environment
• Reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication and evaluation of products including in-house lab demonstrations
• Conceives and plans projects involving definition and selection of new concepts and approaches
• Works with customer and senior engineers cross functionally to understand roadmaps, process flow, inflection points, requirements and business issues / challenges.
• Acts as customer technology manager in the planning, data collection, analysis and reporting
• Acts as single point of contact accountable for process related customer requests
• Drives introduction and evaluation of new technologies at customer sites including new tool qualifications

Profil

MSc in in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with 5+ years of Process Engineer experience in the semiconductor industry in the field of wet clean / advanced packaging

What We're Offering

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry ( ) in the occupation group G depending on educational background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer / supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer / supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
