Role Description

The

Game Economy Expert

will be responsible for designing, tuning, and optimizing the in-game economy and monetization systems across our portfolio of

board (e.g. Ludo)

and

card games (e.g. Rummy, Euchre)

You will define how players earn, spend, and value in-game resources — ensuring a healthy balance between engagement, progression, and monetization.

Your scope will cover

the full economy lifecycle

: from building initial models → validating through live data → optimizing through ongoing A / B tests and Live Ops collaboration.

This is a

remote contract role

, starting at

20–30 hours per week

, with the option to transition into a

full-time position

if the collaboration is successful.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and balance

currencies, rewards, sinks, and progression systems

economic models and forecasting tools

for player behavior and revenue.

game designers and Live Ops

to align economy systems with player motivation and event cadence.

game data and player cohorts

to identify economy health, retention levers, and monetization opportunities.

evaluate A / B tests, LTV trends, and in-game purchase behaviors.

, pacing, and reward distribution.

Qualifications

successful mobile F2P card or board games

(Rummy, Ludo, Canasta, Scopa, Uno-type, etc.).

game economy design

: balancing currencies, reward pacing, and player progression.

F2P monetization systems

— ads, in-app purchases, and reward tuning.

data interpretation, cohort analysis, and KPI optimization

(retention, ARPDAU, LTV).
