About the Role

Be part of a collaborative team running and improving our Kubernetes environments — mostly managed SKS on Exoscale, plus some legacy RKE2 via Rancher. Your main expertise will be in Kubernetes operations, automation, and GitOps workflows, but you'll also contribute to monitoring, logging, and other infrastructure areas when needed.

Location : Vienna (hybrid)

What You'll Work On :

• Operating and improving Kubernetes clusters (SKS Exoscale, RKE2 via Rancher).
• Automating deployments and operations with Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD.
• Ensuring backups and restores work (Velero) and secrets are managed securely (Vault).
• Helping colleagues refine requirements into clear technical deliverables.
• Supporting monitoring and logging improvements for Kubernetes workloads.
• Participating in the on-call rotation once onboarded.
• On- call : 1 week every 5–6 weeks, 24×7, separately compensated

Our performance-based-salary models reward extraordinary commitment and success. The minimum annual gross salary according to the collective agreement of Telekom Austria AG is EUR 49.502,74. The actual annual salary depends on your skills and experience.
