Responsibilities
We are looking for a (Senior) HR Business Partner (m / f / d) to join our HR team on a 12-month maternity cover. In this pivotal role, you will support assigned business units by building strong relationships with both management and employees, providing HR guidance and support, and ensuring HR initiatives, policies, and processes align with our mission, values, and strategic goals.

You'll play a key role in shaping people strategies, supporting assigned business units and fostering a positive workplace culture - making a meaningful impact from day one. Your main responsibilities include :
- Be a trusted advisor to management on all HR-related topics, including performance management, employee relations, change management, and organizational development
- Partner with leaders to support strategic workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding - ensuring the right talent is in place
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, help resolve conflicts, and support fair and consistent disciplinary actions
- Lead and support performance management processes that align employees with company objectives and growth
- Champion employee wellbeing and sustainable performance as part of the people strategy
- Drive and contribute to HR projects and initiatives that foster engagement, talent development, and contiguous improvement
- Conduct compensation analysis and contribute to competitive compensation planning
- Use HR data and people analytics to provide actionable insights and guide business decisions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and current labor legislation
- Stay ahead of HR trends and legal updates, acting as a go-to expert on Austrian labor law
Requirements
University degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related fieldAt least 5+ years of broad HR experience in an international, ideally life sciences or pharmaceutical environmentStrong knowledge of Austrian labor law and HR best practicesProven ability to build strong, trust-based relationships across all levels of the organizationConfident working with senior stakeholders - able to challenge, collaborate, and support with easeExcellent interpersonal and communication skills - comfortable influencing and engaging with different audiencesOrganized and proactive : you thrive when managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environmentPassion for people, culture, and contributing to a modern, business-oriented HR functionFluent in both German and English (written and spoken) - essential for effective collaborationBenefits

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is EUR 70.000 gross per year based on full-time employment. However our salaries are market oriented and in line with your qualifications and experience.
